Sales volume in Eagle County exceeds $1B thus far in 2015

New construction in Eagle County has soared this summer with 16 new homes being sold in July totaling $15,802,050 and averaging nearly $1M per sale. These sales helped contribute to the increase in transactions this summer throughout the Valley with 218 transactions in July, and a total of 1,075 year to date (17% more than 2014).
Sales volume is also on the rise compared to last year with over $171M in sales in July, and a total of more than $1B for the year.

Local residents account for over half of the real estate transactions in Eagle County this year – with 54% of buyers having local addresses – followed by out-of-state buyers accounting 28%, and Front Range buyers representing 17% of the sales.

Commercial real estate has also seen an increase in sales with 16 transactions in July totaling nearly $15M. Improved commercial accounted for twelve of these transactions, averaging $664k.
Eagle and Gypsum again saw the most activity in July, followed by Edwards with 20 sales.
