Eagle County surpasses $3B for the first time EVER!
Real estate in Eagle County reached a new height this year, surpassing $3B in total dollar volume for the first time ever! The previous record was set in 2007 with $2.9B in dollar volume. November added $428M to help reach this historical total, along with 299 transactions. Many of these transactions took place in the mid valley of Avon and Beaver Creek with 26 and 27 sales respectively. Only Eagle had more transactions, with 43.
Vail setting Pricing records
The highest priced sale for November was a home in Beaver Creek which sold for $15.9M.This was the highest of the 11 sales that sold over $5M in November, bringing the year to date total in this category to 73 sales. The increased number of high end homes selling has been the main contributor to the record setting dollar volume this year. The 73 homes with a sales price of $5M or more have accounted for more than $700M in dollar volume, year to date. Eagle County buyers continue to be from out of state, accounting for 37% of all home sales in November. The majority come from either Texas for Florida.
