Strong 1st quarter in Eagle County Real Estate
Eagle County real estate ended the first quarter 14% above last year’s year-to-date sales volume. This followed a $139,865,116 in sales volume in March. This volume was spread over 129 transactions bringing the first quarter transactions number to 342 (8% above 2014 year-to-date).
Eagle and Gypsum had the highest number of transactions for the month of March, with 17 and 19 respectively, which also carried nearly 25% of the total volume. The sales volume is primarily due to the sale of Adams Rib Country Club in Eagle for nearly $21M.
Year-to-date the overall residential average sales price for the county was $1,283,771. This is an increase of more than $200,000 over the first quarter in 2014.
The highest dollar volume sale in March was a residence sold in Bachelor Gulch for $10.25M.
