I love this time of year in the Vail valley. The trees are yellow, orange and red adding to our already amazing views. The weather is starting to change as we see some snow coming in and start dreaming of future powder days. We can still get in some incredible mountain bike rides and hikes as the trails are still open and clear of snow. If you are lucky and get high enough in altitude you may catch some elk bugling, deer running through the fields or a bear foraging for food preparing for winter hibernation. I have seen all of this in the last month and loved every minute of it. I know anyone that has had a similar experience in the Colorado mountains, loves the Colorado mountains.
